How to record and edit a course video in Detail

Set up your iPhone
Place your iPhone on a tripod, horizontally, with the selfie camera facing you, then:
- Open Detail and start a new project
- Change the layout to full screen
- Switch the camera to the selfie camera so that you can see yourself

Add your script to the teleprompter
Tap the teleprompter icon (💬) and paste script into the text area. You can test the speed of the teleprompter by moving the speedometer up and down.

Split into clips
Cut your recording into clips that will match the slides you're talking to. You can do this by:
- Moving through the timeline and use the Split tool to make splits in the timeline.
- OR Using the text-editor view to read through your script and make splits in the recording by swiping on sentences

Add your slides / content
Now you can add a slide into each clip using the Layout & Background tool.
There are 5 layout options:
- Full screen - either you or your slide
- Picture in Picture
- Grid (50 / 50)
- Grid (70 / 30)
- Green Screen
Choose a layout option for each clip and use Background to import your slide.
